Marmotte cyclo sportive profile The Queen Mother of All Cyclosportives It starts from the small town of Bourg d'Oisans and finishes in Alpe d'Huez. It provides an opportunity to ride the terrain of the pros, complete a grueling circuit, and climb such mythic mountain passes as the Col du Glandon (1,924 m or 6,200 ft.), the Col du Telegraphe, the Col du Galibier (2,642 m or 7.925 ft.), and Alpe d'Huez (1,880 m or 5,640 ft.).Organised by SportCommunication, the race which is part of the Grand Trophee has been taking place for over 30 years. It is a perfect way to experience the thrill of the Tour de France, take part in a mass-timed cycling event, and compete against the clock, yourself, or others.

The race will take place on July 3th, 2010
  Conveniently, the ride takes place during the same period as the Tour de France, thereby allowing cyclists the exciting opportunity of combining an exceptional ride with viewing the most renowned cycling event in the world. All in all, it is an event not to be missed and is a great alternative to participating in the Etape du Tour, which sells out fast.

30 places will be sold on an "entry-only" basis. These are sold at the price of 115 euros per entry. They include the use of our private feed-stations located at the top of Glandon and at the foot of Alpe d'Huez as well as the 10-euro deposit (you will get this money back when returning your time device to the organizer) for the timing device.

2-night package - July 4 through 6, 2014

Thanks to very enthusiastic word-of-mouth, this package also sells out. From our clients' feedback, this is due to the fact that we include a lot more services than other tour operators:

  • We use hotels that are steps from the finish line (Le Pic-Blanc & Les Bergers)
  • We have a top-notch mechanic for last-minute tuning
  • We include two private feed-stations: one at the top of Glandon, the other one at the foot of Alpe d'Huez.

A tour that combines our 5-night "Geneva to Alpe d'Huez" with our Marmotte package. It is offered on a guided basis with a support vehicle. This tour is limited to 12 riders. It also sells out!
