Itinerary:

Day 1:
We have planned the itinerary in a way so that you will cycle close to the lakeside for the majority of the first day. We will tranquilly pedal out of Geneva across the Mt. Blanc Bridge and into the beautiful Swiss countryside. On our way to Nyon, we will ride through farmlands and vineyards where we will enjoy stunning views over Lake Geneva and its surrounding mountains. Here a stop at a wine-growing estate in one of the numerous lovely villages is planned where we will do our first tasting of the delicious locally grown wines.
Afterwards, you will get the chance to visit the magnificent Château de Prangins, one of the numerous castles in the region, surrounded by a great garden.
From Nyon, we will proceed to the medieval village of Rolle and its Château de Rolle, a castle which is located directly at the lakeside. If time permits we will have a drink at an outdoor café, before heading on to the pier of the shipping company "Compagnie Générale de Navigation", where we will go aboard a ferry in order to cross the lake.
On your arrival in Yvoire a few minutes later you will already be in France! With its picturesque location at the tip of the Leman peninsula, Yvoire belongs to the Les Plus Beaux Villages de France ("The most beautiful villages of France"), a title that has so far only been awarded to two villages in the Upper Savoy region!
After visiting this medieval village we will proceed to Anthy-sur-Léman, a small community close to the lake. Here you will have dinner and spend the night in a 3*** hotel. You can even go for a swim in the hotel's own swimming pool if you want!

Day 2:
On day two we will ride to the village of Sciez and through the lovely vineyards of Crépy, before arriving in Choulex, where we will enjoy a savory outdoor picnic and another fine wine tasting. On our way back to Geneva in the afternoon, we will cross Vandœuvres, a village with an interesting tradition: the residents plant an oak tree for every inhabitant of their community!
On your arrival in Geneva you will look back on two great days filled with unforgettable impressions of Lake Geneva and its surroundings.
