Cycling on quiet roads through quaint villages, breathtaking scenery and colorful fields will give you an aromatic and visual sense of what defines Provence. Create your own unforgettable adventures as you pedal through the charming and infamous villages of Gordes, Menerbes, Lacoste, and Lourmarin, to name a few. |

| Day
1: Arrival in Avignon Arrive in Avignon at the time of your choice. Check in at your hotel. Visit Avignon at your leisure. Meet our local representative to go over itinerary and material. Distribution of rental equipment. |

2: Avignon - Isle-sur-la-Sorgue (53 km or
70 km ; 33 miles or 44 miles) Cycling East, you will pedal through fields of fruit trees on your way to the "Plateau des Monts de Vaucluse," where the scenery changes dramatically. Charming places such as Fontaine-de-Vaucluse and Isle-sur-la-Sorgue await you. Overnight in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Today's mileage varies according to the option you've chosen. Both options are hilly. |

3: Isle-sur-la-Sorgue - Apt (44 km or 27
miles) After breakfast, it's on to the Luberon and its picturesque perched villages of Oppède-le-Vieux, Ménerbes, Lacoste, and Bonnieux. All have appealing cozy restaurants for lunch or animated terrasses for drinks, where you can savour the local flavour. Dinner and overnight in the Apt countryside. |

4: Apt - Apt (Options range from 25 km to
64 km; 15 miles to 40 miles) Today you can choose from many different options. You can rest by the pool of your hotel or choose to ride one of the three suggested itineraries. All three rides take you to ochre-colored Roussillon and its countryside. Longer rides will take you to Gordes or "Colorado Provençal." |

5: Apt - Vaugines (43 km or 27 miles) Today's ride will take you to the heart of the Luberon, following a colorful route through the local flora. Stone houses (called "bories"), quaint villages (such as Lourmarin) and beautiful scenery are on today's menu. Dinner and overnight in Vaugines. |

6: Vaugines - Vaugines (51 km or 32 miles) This loop will allow you to explore the "Grand Luberon." Castles and sites such as "Chateau d'Ansouis" will provide welcome stops--worth a visit. Overnight in Vaugines. |

7: Vaugines - Avignon (43 km or 27 miles) You'll cycle along the Durance river through farmlands all the way to Cavaillon, the World's Capital of Melons. This is where you'll hop on a train to reach downtown Avignon. Overnight in Avignon. |

8: Departure from Avignon Depart Avignon at the time of your choice. |

Pricing: From 740 euros per person sharing a room. This tour comes in two options: Option A: 6 nights in 2-star hotels,1 night in a 3-star hotel, all with a swimming pool (except in Avignon)
